Hominids has two slightly different covers, one for the Canadian and one for the US marketplace. The wonderful art, by Donato Giancola, is the same, but the review quotes are different — (mostly Canadian mainstream sources on the Canadian edition; mostly US genre sources on the US edition), and only the Canadian price appears on the Canadian edition. The actual book is identical, only the dust jackets are different. The Canadian distributor, H.B. Fenn and Company, sold out of the copies with the Canadian covers many years ago. So they are no longer available. As to which jacket is more valuable to a collector, we haven't a clue.
